From Sand Sports Magazine, November-December 2016 issue

Can-Am has unleashed one of the best sport UTVs to ever hit the market, and this vehicle makes a bold statement. But, it's one that Can-Am is prepared to back up. The lineup of 2017 Maverick X3 vehicles have been in development by BRP for more than three years. It represents Can-Am's commitment that there will be a new Can-Am UTV released every six months until the year 2020. The Maverick X3 Turbo comes in three versions. First, there is the Maverick X3 base model. This has the lowest MSRP of the three versions, and sells for $22,999. It does not include bead lock aluminum wheels, and only comes in white plastic trim.

Next is the Maverick X3 X ds. This unit retains the X model's 64-inch width and dimensions, but also has a slightly different suspension and improved wheel and tire setup. It comes in your choice of Yellow or Triple Black trim and has an MSRP of $24,999. The top line model is the Maverick X3 X rs Turbo R. It comes in Triple Black or Gold and Can-Am Red, and it's offered with an MSRP of $26,899. It has the widest width of all three models at 72 inches, and includes 14-inch aluminum bead lock wheels with 30 inch Maxxix Bighorn tires. The race suspension on this model offers the most wheel travel of all three units with up to 22 inches up front and 24 inches in the rear.

Macon Ezell Takes First Place

Cycle Zone Nation rider Macon Ezell (22 years old), secured his fourth Forward Motion Hare Scrambles Championship #1 title! After competing in 9 out of the 13 possible races, Macon managed to power through the top spot. We here at Cycle Zone Powersports are proud to sponsor Macon as he pursues his goal of being among the top competitors in the National Enduro Promotions Group Series. Recently Macon has upgraded his KTM 300 XC to a 4-stroke KTM 350 XC-F, and that performance boost has given him the edge to power through to first place!
